When we talk about social justice, we mean that the church should reflect God's heart for human society: a world where basic needs are met, people have hope, and God's shalom (all encompassing peace) reigns. God calls us to speak truthfully and prophetically when we see injustice - especially when weak and vulnerable members of our community are neglected and unable to live a dignified life. We believe that the Church is called to witness against the root causes of what keeps people poor, hungry, and powerless (Matt. 25:36-40).
