being a beacon of hope, love, grace, and mercy. In our words and actions, we endeavor to serve and be faithful servants of Christ daily. It is not good enough to just be concerned for the other or to just give to the other; we believe in working alongside, pouring our time and energy into, and living life with those who we claim we are called to love and serve. It is out of our love for Christ that we desire to follow in his footsteps and be a loving presence for the ‘least of these’. The only way to engage a brother or sister is to become a brother or a sister (John 1:1-4).
